Pure Care Sub-0 Chill Pillow – Materials & Design:

We love that PureCare really went out of their ways to create a very cool and comfortable pillow when they designed the SoftCell Sub-0° Chill Pillow. The cover of this pillow is made out of a blend of FRÍO Rapid Chill cooling fibers and TENCEL Lyocell material. This combination makes for a silky smooth and cool sleeping fabric that helps to keep you comfortable cool all night long.

The top of the pillow is quilted for those who prefer a soft and pressure relieving sleeping surface. While the flip side feathers a cool gel infusion for extra cooling comfort.

The inside of the pillow has an extra padding in the center to add support of loft to the pillow. If you prefer a lower profile or slightly softer pillow, you can remove this part of the pillow in order to get your desired comfort. Otherwise leave this in for a medium loft and medium softness pillow.

Are The PureCare SoftCell Sub-0° Chill Pillows Comfortable?

As this pillow is delivered it has a medium height and medium softness level. The PureCare SoftCell Chill Pillow is going to be most comfortable for back or side sleepers that tend to sleep hot. However, if you are a hot sleeper but prefer to sleep on your stomach this will work for you too!

This is a hybrid style pillow that features a removeable interior core that can be removed in order to lower the loft size of the pillow as well as making it feel slightly softer as well. The lower loft is ideal for those who prefer to sleep on their stomachs as it will not put strain on your neck like a loftier pillow can.

We find the main attraction of this pillow is that it does a great job at sleeping cool. This is ideal for anyone who is constantly flipping their pillow to the cool side or waking up hot and sweaty. Instead you can use the Sub-0 Chill Pillow to stay comfortably cool throughout the night.

Care Instructions:

Something often not thought of when pillow shopping is how simple or difficult the pillow is to care for. This can be a problem for some, thankfully PureCare made sure to design their SoftCell Sub Zero Chill Pillow to be rather easy to keep fresh and clean.

We always recommend following the manufacturers care instructions.

In order to wash your PureCare Pillow they recommend that you first remove the memory foam core. You can do this by unzipping the pillow cover and manually removing. Then you are safe to put the pillow in the wash without the memory foam core.

Machine wash on a gentle cycle with like colors. Then to dry the suggest tumble drying on low. Be sure your pillow is fully dry before you continue use.
