We enjoyed trying out both sides of this true memory foam feeling mattress. There is definitely a difference between the softer side to the firmer side and both worked fine for back sleeping. However, the softer side we definitely preferred for side sleeping. While the firmer side was much better for stomach sleeping. If you change sleeping positions, you may want the firmer side. Regardless, you do have the choice.

We liked the feel of the pressure relieving memory foam and slept mostly on the softer side. It had plenty of support but was a more “in the bed” than “on the bed” feel. While the firmer side was more “on the bed”. Both sides have plenty of support and even though the feel changes your body can easily adapt because of the solid core. The copper infusion adds a nice touch and keeps the mattress cooler to the touch. As well as adds a bonus by keeping it feeling cleaner.

Layla Mattress – Motion Transfer:

One of the best things about an all foam bed is the nearly non-existent amount of motion transfer. This memory foam mattress does exactly that.
