Tuft & Needle may be known for their mattresses, but they have a great selection of bedding accessories from pillows to mattress protectors. Today we are going to be looking into their Percale Sheets. Get ready for that fresh & clean new sheets feeling. We are going to go through what makes these sheets oh so comfortable.
If you’re not familiar with Percale Sheets, they are typically made out of 100% cotton and have a closed weave.
This is what gives the sheets their classic crisp clean hotel sheets feel.
Occasionally you will find that some brand will make percale sheets with filler materials like 50% polyester. Which tends to make the sheets less breathable and heat up faster. Not Tuft and Needle! T&N made their percale sheets out of 100% SUPIMA cotton grown right here in the USA.
In order to keep their sheets especially breathable and free of unneeded treatments, they did not use any chemical wrinkle treatments on these sheets. So you may find they need a touch up in the dryer if you don’t get them out right away. However, you are sure to sleep comfortably in these sheets.
The Percale Sheets by Tuft and Needle definitely have that quintessential crisp clean cotton sheet feel that is adored by so many.
We particularly like that the 100% cotton makeup allows these sheets to nice and breathable as well as moisture wicking.
T&N makes their Percale Sheets in all of the standard mattresses sizes, from Twin – California King. Once you have picked the size you need, you get to choose between 5 different color options. Their colors to choose from are Sage, Charcoal, Sand, Slate, and Cloud. All of these colors have a soft natural tone to them, making them all relaxing colors that work so well in a bedroom.
When comparing these to other sheets we have reviewed, this is a rather reasonably priced set of sheets. While T&N has some Jersey Knit sheets that come in at a lower price range, these are also a more luxury feel and material than the Jersey sheets.
These sheets are not necessarily a bargain by any means. However, we find the price to be appropriate for what you are getting.
Keep in mind that shipping is always free, even for returns. With your purchase price you also get a 100-Night Trial Period and a 2-Year Warranty. So you can have faith that your sheets will last you a long time.
Tuft & Needle does suggest you wash your sheets before your first use. For washing they suggest using a mild detergent and cool water. If you are washing with other items we do suggest to wash with similar colors.
In order to dry your sheets T&N suggests line drying or tumble drying on low heat and removing from the dryer promptly. This is to avoid any stubborn wrinkles. If you choose to iron your sheets, Tuft & Needle suggests using the proper setting for cotton.
