This material is made out of bamboo that is processed into threads that is then turned into the viscose fabric found here in these sheets. While the thread count on these sheets is a respectable single-ply 300TC, they are even softer than 1000TC of cotton sheets. This is because of how silky smooth the viscose threads are. The bamboo allows for these sheets to be breathable, cool, and silky smooth.

Bamboo is incredibly hardy and fast growing with rather minimal water in comparison to other plants used for creating bedding. The processing to turn it into viscose is also relatively minimal. Care Instructions:
Eli and Elm recommends washing their Wharf sheets on a cold water setting separately from other items. Be sure to avoid any products containing bleach, or fabric softener as these could potentially damage your sheets.
To dry, simple tumble dry on a low heat setting. To avoid wrinkling, promptly remove your bedding from the dryer and put back on the bed.
If you find that you would like to iron your sheets, you can do that. Just be sure to use the lowest setting possible in order to prevent damage.
