Materials & Design:

The Tempur-Cloud Adjustable Pillow has a simple yet effective design. The internal fill is made out of a blend of their TEMPUR Pressure Relief, TEMPUR Plush Comfort, and TEMPUR Premium Support foams. This gives the pillow a wonderfully balanced feel of softening comfort and support.

All the materials are shredded and then used as a fill instead of a single stiff block of foam. This allows to pillow to be much more pliable and moldable just like traditional down or down alternative fill pillows. However, the foam provides more support than those style of pillows as it will not flatten out like down does.

The cover is made with a hidden side zipper. This allows you to have easy access to the internal fill of the pillow. Why would you want access to the internal fill? Why, to adjust the loft height of course! This is the “adjustable” feature of this TempurPedic Pillow. You can adjust the fill to make it a higher or lower loft size to suite how you sleep. The cover is also easily removed and machine washable!

Is The Tempur-Cloud Adjustable Pillow Comfortable?

Arguably the best thing about this pillow is that it can be adjusted in order to be comfortable for you and how you sleep. If you prefer a low loft pillow, you can remove the internal fill and make it as low of a pillow as you like. You can even add in more fill to make it a higher loft if you change your mind.

You can easily remove or add fill to this pillow in order to make it the exact loft height and firmness level of your liking. If you want a softer pillow with a lower profile, simply remove some fill. While for a slightly more medium firmness level and increased loft height, simply fill it with more of the foam blend.

Overall, this pillow without any adjustments has a medium-soft feel and a medium loft height. If you prefer an extra firm or very tall loft height, then this might not be your ideal pillow. However, it is generally a comfortable moldable memory foam pillow.

Care Instructions:

Another great feature of this pillow is that the cover is completely removeable and machine washable. Making it incredibly simple and easy to keep fresh and clean. Although, you should try to keep the internal fill as dry as possible. The cover features a Surface-Guard Technology coating. This helps to protect the internal fill of the pillow and keep it easily cleaned up.

The wash instructions for the pillow cover are rather simple to follow. Simply wash on a cold water setting with gentle detergent. TempurPedic recommends air drying for best results. However, they say you can also machine dry on a cool setting if you prefer. They do warn against over drying, as well as using any chlorinated products or harsh cleaners. Only spot clean the internal pillow if needed. Be sure to blot with a damp rag and fully dry. Avoid getting the internal foam wet.

We would recommend this pillow to anyone who is looking for a well price and adjustable memory foam pillow. We love that the adjustable loft height allows you to easily adjust your pillow to work just right for how you sleep. Back and stomach sleepers will likely prefer a lower loft height. While side sleepers typically prefer a higher loft height. Overall, the adjustable features, moldable soft/medium feel of this pillow is very comfortable and works well for a wide variety of sleepers.
