Materials & Design:

The Oceano pillow from Brentwood Home has a simple yet effective design. It really dials in on using high quality materials in order to create a comfortable pillow. This pillow consists of two main sections, the cover and the fill.

The cover of the Oceano Pillow is made out of a stretch-knit Tencel fabric. This is a soft breathable material that is made out of tree pulp. The cover has an internal liner that is made out of 100% polyester. This liner helps to keep the internal section of the pillow all together and stay inside the pillow.

Next is the fill of the pillow. Brentwood Home filled the Oceano Pillow with rather similar materials to the Oceano Mattress. It is filled with a combination of Gel Memory Foam polyester fill. The gel memory foam is made with BioFoam®, a plant-based foam. Brentwood Home ensures the safety of their foams by getting them certified. Is The Brentwood Home Oceano Pillow Comfortable?

To do this, simply unzip the cover of the pillow and either add or remove the fill to your liking.

Another feature that keeps this pillow so comfortable is the materials they use in order keep the pillow cool. The first is the gel infused open cell memory foam. The airy foam mixed with a cooling gel, that is then cut into small pieces all helps to allow for plenty of cooling airflow throughout the pillow.

Care Instructions:

If you are going to want the freedom of throwing your pillow in the washing machine and dryer, then this is not the pillow for you. Brentwood Home does not recommend machine washing their pillows, or using bleaching products on their covers either.

If you do need to get your pillow clean due to a spot or stain, they recommend spot treating the cover as needed with minimal water. To spot clean, simply dampen a clean white washcloth. Then lightly dab at the spot, ensuring you do not press too much water into the pillow. To dry, allow to airdry in a sunny breezy spot.
